During my recent travels, I faced unexpected disruptions with German railways, leaving me stranded and concerned about my arrival at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received while communicating with the staff prior to my stay. They were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a key could be arranged for me late at night - a gesture that certainly alleviated my travel woes. Upon arrival, I appreciated the hotel's successful blend of traditional and modern elements. The architectural features were preserved beautifully, capturing the essence of its heritage. My single room was both spacious and comfortable, equipped with an en suite featuring a generous bath. The breakfast offered a delightful selection, showcasing exquisite French cuisine with a contemporary twist, which I found to be particularly enjoyable. The hotel's location, just a stone's throw from the station and close to the DFDS terminal, made it easy to explore the area. I was able to store my bicycle securely within the premises - a notable convenience for an avid cyclist like myself. This stay offered a positive experience, even amidst unforeseen circumstances.
